Urethane Casting

In urethane casting technology, the mold of the designed model is obtained by pouring urethane around the model in a vacuum environment. Then, this master model is cut and removed and the mold is obtained. Manufacturing is carried out by pouring suitable plastic materials into the prepared design mold in the vacuum casting machine. Urethane casting is a prototyping and repetition method. This manufacturing method is also known as vacuum casting.

It is a widely used manufacturing technology to produce prototypes quickly and with high manufacturing quality. Using the designed mold, you can obtain functional, custom-designed prototypes where you can observe the form, performance, or strength tests of the products in the natural environment or you can manufacture low-volume products quickly in the quality of the final product.

Materials

ABS Equivalent Material: It is a transparent and hard material that can transmit light. It has a fragile structure. In applications where transparency is required, PMMA can be preferred as an alternative to material.

PA-PC Equivalent Material: It is a very durable material with high flexibility and tensile strength. It is preferred in applications where hardness and rigidity are required.
